Fine British actress.
Ritchie made her screen debut in an ill-fated German version of The Threepenny Opera in 1962, but went on to become a star in the same year with her portrayal of Ingrid in the gritty A Kind of Loving (with Alan Bates, 1962).
She went on to appear in a further six films including Live
Now – Pay Later (1962) and The Mouse on the Moon (1963).
Ritchie made a total of four films in 1963, then vanishing from the big screen until 1968, when she made her last film, The Syndicate.
This is a truly sensational original black and white publicity photograph (8" x 10") for Live Now-Pay Later, showing the young and lovely June Ritchie in a very skimpy Baby Doll nightie. There's an excellent in dark blue fountain pen ink to a clear area of the image. The original publicity slip is still attached to the reverse. Slight waviness of the right edge caused by the glue of the publicity slip, but general condition is very good. RARE.
