British music hall comedian and singer.Whit Cunliffe was at the height of his success just prior to the First World War. Many of his songs featured "Girls" in the Titles; indeed one is called "They won't let me sing about the girls" Nevertheless, he invariably did. Other songs had topical or political references which make them fascinating today.
This is a fine vintage sepia postcard (postally used and franked March 1919), nicely signed in black ink across the image. In good condition.
