English cricketer who made eight known appearances in major cricket matches between 1790 and 1793.

Brudenell was an early member of the Marylebone Cricket Club, playing most of his matches for them. He sat as Member of Parliament for Marlborough from 1797 until 1802.

He succeeded to his title on 24 February 1811, following the death of his uncle James Brudenell, 5th Earl of Cardigan. The title passed on his death to James Brudenell, famous as the Cardigan who led the Charge of the Light Brigade in the Crimean War.

This is a very fine signature in ink on an 1829 Free Front. In good condition.
