A very fine vintage sepia photograph (8" x 10"), of Purdell in an unidentified character role, signed and inscribed ("To Eric, In grateful appreciation of his artistry, Sincerely, Reggie Purdell") in dark blue ink across the image.  VERY RARE.
This photograph is inscribed to the great British showbusiness photographer, Eric Gray and is unique.
It was Gray's practice after a publicity shoot to send a contact print to his subject for approval. The subject would then signify this by signing the photograph and returning it to him. This came from Eric Gray's estate.
