A listing of two items - the first is a very fine signature in black ink on a 6" x 4" white card. This was obtained in person at the Barbican centre in February 1992. The second item is a unique candid colour photograph (9" x 6") of Mark Elder, taken at the Royal Opera House in February 2004. Superb and unpublished.

fine Annual Dinner Menu (8" x 5") for the National Federation of Gramophone Societies, Saturday, November 20th, 1948, nicely signed to the reverse in blue fountain pen ink by Kathleen Ferrier. The menu has also been signed in black ink by Christopher Stone (1882-1965), the first disc jockey in Britain and the editor of The Gramophone, a magazine started by his brother-in-law, Compton Mackenzie.

Goehr, Walter German composer, arranger and conductor, especially remembered for writing the excellent score for David Lean's film classic, Great Expectations (1946).
An interesting letter, handwritten and signed black in ink on an 8" x 6.25" sheet of blindstamped notepaper (17 Batchelor's Way, Amersham, Bucks, 8.5.41) , complaining that his expenses for copying and hiring music in connection with the BBC's production of a Bertholt Becht play in December 1940 have still not been paid.

Hadley, Jerry   (1952-2007)
Hadley, Jerry American tenor, one of America's most versatile and important tenors, but equally at home in operetta and on Broadway; committed suicide.
A listing of two items. The first is a unique candid colour photograph (8" x 6") taken at the Barbican Centre in London in 1998, when Hadley was appearing in Bernstein's Candide. It was boldly signed in-person in black ink shortly afterwards. In very good condition.
The second item is a full page (11.5" x 8") taken from the programme for that production of Candide at the Barbican, boldly signed in black ink by Hadley across his biographical page. One central horizontal fold but otherwise in very good condition.
