A 6" x 4" slip of paper (Ospedaletti. Ligure, Italy, 21st February, 1930), detailing a lecture ("The Latest on Russia") to be delivered by Bishop Bury on behalf of the St Luke's Church Building Fund. There's a fine signature ("Yrs v.sincerely, Emmuska Orczy")  in black fountain pen ink across the clear lower part of the slip.

A fine letter, typed on a 10" x 7.75" sheet of headed notepaper (Snowfield, Bearsted, Kent, October 24th, 1913), thanking a lady for a very kind invitation to a Christmas Supper but declining it ("my boy will be at home for his Christmas holidays and I would find it quite impossible to leave during that week"). There's a bold signature in black ink at the conclusion.

Spillane, Mickey   (1918-2006
Spillane, Mickey American crime novelist (and occasional actor), whose stories often feature his signature detective character, Mike Hammer; more than 225 million copies of his books have sold internationally.
A very fine copy of a 1996 American comic,  published by Big Entertainment Inc, featuring Mickey Spillane's character Mike Danger. The comic has been boldly signed in black ink to an inner page by Spillane, almost certainly at the National Film Theatre in London in 1999 when Spillane was giving a talk. Included with the comic is a newpaper cutting, giving details of the talk; the cutting has also been boldly signed in black ink by Spillane, and also by his wife Jane.
