There's a fine signature in blue ink at the conclusion.

Barker, Eric British comedian, one of the most familiar faces in British comedy, in four Carry On films.
A fine typed letter on headed notepaper (21st January 1948) in which Barker thanks a fan for a kind letter and gives him a contact address for the other cast members of Waterlogged Spa. There's a neat signature in blue fountain pen ink at the conclusion.

Barker, Eric British comedian, one of the most familiar faces in British comedy, in four Carry On films.
Eric Barker was clearly hugely popular in his heyday. This is a vintage 1940s printed letter on headed notepaper, thanking a fan for a kind letter but adding "I feel sure you will undetstand when we say that it is humanly impossible to answer every letter individually". There is, however, a perfectly authentic signature in green fountain pen ink at the conclusion.

A superb vintage sepia photograph (8" x 10"), showing Bergen and Charlie McArthy as elegant "toffs", nicely signed and inscribed ("Best wishes to Pat & Mary from Edgar Bergen and Charlie McCarthy") in blue fountain pen ink across the image.
The signature was obtained in July 1948 when Bergen was appearing at the London Palladium.
