HAPPIDROME, Happidrome was a long-running BBC radio comedy series, penned by HARRY KORRIS (1891-1971), a British comedy star and writer. It featured a theatre of that name and starred Korris as the theatre proprietor, Mr. Lovejoy, CECIL FREDERICK (1903-1958), as his stage manager, Ramsbottom, and ROBBIE VINCENT (1895-1968) as the gormlesss call-boy, Enoch.

Happidrome was a long-running BBC radio comedy series, penned by HARRY KORRIS (1891-1971), a British comedy star and writer. It featured a theatre of that name and starred Korris as the theatre proprietor, Mr. Lovejoy, CECIL FREDERICK (1903-1958), as his stage manager, Ramsbottom, and ROBBIE VINCENT (1895-1968) as the gormlesss call-boy, Enoch.
A set of three vintage photographs (about 3.5" x 2.75") of the stars of the  comedy, each signed across the image in ink.

Hewlett, Donald British character actor, best known for his sitcom roles as Colonel Charles Reynolds in It Ain't Half Hot Mum and Lord Meldrum in You Rang, M'Lord?, both written by Jimmy Perry and David Croft.
A deeply charming letter, handwritten and signed in black ink on two sheets of 9" x 7" note paper, to a young fan who has sent him a coloured drawing of a dog. Not only does this letter show how wonderfully kind Hewlett was, it also contains an excellent anecdote about Alec Guinness.
